Paola Gianturco. A photojournalist and former marketing executive, for the past sixteen years Paola Gianturco has documented women’s lives in fifty-five countries. In Fall 2012, Paola’s latest photographic book, Grandmother Power, A Global Phenomenon, will be released. One hundred percent of the author royalties from this book will go to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation which helps grandmothers in 15 African countries who are caring for AIDS orphans. Paola lives in Mill Valley, California.

Jayne McDonough. Jayne, a licensed architect with a degree from Cornell University, now works as a graphic artist designing websites, logos, and online publications – when she isn’t doing art projects with her twin eight year-olds. Global Grandmothers website, logo, and all associated graphics emanate from her creative mind. Jayne lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sarah Pruden. Sarah joined Global Grandmothers in January 2011 as our first member! Sarah’s early and enthusiastic support of GG naturally followed from her lifelong commitment to children’s issues, starting when as a child her family supported a war orphan in Italy. As a parent, Sarah served as a school board member, and later a high school college/career advisor. Now, as a grandparent of four, Sarah gives time and money to make the world a better place. Sarah lives in Sausalito, California.

Kari Rodgers. Kari worked for twelve years in the communications industry, mostly with the firm of Young and Rubicam, where she was a partner. In 2007 she took a break from her career to spend time with her three young children, including newborn twins. Now Kari’s putting her skills back to work, advising Global Grandmothers on communications and marketing, especially in the social media world. Kari lives in San Francisco, California.

Lynda Storek. An educator for 40 years, Lynda ran her 4th and 5th grade classrooms as teacher, and then her middle school as principal, with high standards, incredible energy and a hilarious sense of humor. She brings those same qualities to grandmothering her eight grandchildren and advising Global Grandmothers on the Kids’ Page. Lynda lives in San Rafael, California.
